Han Wa Chinese Yixing Zisha Clay Gongfu Teapot, 100ml

Crafted from purple clay, this 100 ml Han Wa teapot is designed for traditional Gongfu tea brewing. Its low, cylindrical body, broad flat lid, and distinctive arched handle on the lid follow the classical Han Wa (汉瓦) form, a traditional Chinese teapot shape inspired by ancient Han dynasty roof tiles.

The unglazed clay has a smooth, natural matte finish and gradually develops character through use. Its porous structure interacts with the tea over time, making this style of teapot particularly well suited to repeated brewing of oolong, pu-erh, and black teas.
